Privacy policy

This page explains what we collect to make your film, who helps us make it, and how you can delete everything.

What we collect

Your account: your email address, used to sign you in and to tell you when your film is ready, and the mobile number you give at checkout, used for your payment.
Your story: your names, the memories you write, your answers to our questions, and the scenes you approve.
Your photos and song: the photos of the two of you (and any photos from your memories) and the song you add.
What we make from them: character designs, scene images, video clips and the finished film.

How we use it

Only to make, show and let you edit your film. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or show your film to anyone else. Your photos are used to draw characters that look like you; they're never used to identify anyone.

Who helps us

To make your film, your story and photos are processed by these services, each under their own privacy and data-protection terms:

Google Cloud and Firebase (India region): hosting, sign-in and storage of your story, photos and films.
Anthropic (Claude): reads your story and photos to ask follow-up questions, write the script and check likeness.
fal.ai: generates the character designs, scene images and video clips from your photos.
Cashfree Payments: processes your payment (your mobile number, email and payment details go to Cashfree; we never see your card or bank details).
Resend: sends the email that tells you your film is ready (only your email address and a link).

Consent

By uploading photos you confirm that everyone shown in them has agreed to be in the film. Please don't upload photos of children or of anyone who hasn't agreed.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your film and everything used to make it until you delete it, so you can come back and edit it. To delete a film, open the home page while signed in and press Delete on it: its story, photos, generated media and film are removed permanently. To delete your account as well, write to us at the address below.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to erase it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you.
